Satbayev University discussed what an inclusive future should look like in the technology age

In April, "Artificial Intelligence for the sustainable and inclusive future" panel discussion was held at Satbayev University. The event was attended by students, teachers, leading experts and representatives of international organizations, including Stephen O'Malley, UN Resident Coordinator in Kazakhstan.

The discussion focused on the potential of artificial intelligence in addressing the global challenges such as climate change, access to quality education, overcoming digital inequality, and building inclusive societies. The discussion was opened by Satbayev University’s Rector Meiram Begentayev, who stressed the importance of the role of universities in this process.:

"It is a great honor for us to host this important event," said Rector. "Today, universities play a key role in shaping the future. We believe that it is through education, science and innovation that we can build a better future for everyone."

Satbayev University actively forms an academic and research environment in which technologies work for the benefit of society, and supports initiatives aimed at sustainable development. We integrate a sustainable approach into degree programs, evolve research projects aimed at real improvement of life, and support partnerships with global organizations, opening up new opportunities for students and researchers and contributing to building a more just, secure, and technological world.
