Satbayev University students learned how to act in emergency situations

Students with special needs of Satbayev University visited "Center for Planning and Operational Management" of Almaty Dispatch Service with an excursion to learn more about emergency situations and the actions of the specialized service.
Students visited Department of Emergency Situations of Almaty, toured the center and asked a lot of questions about where to contact and how to act during emergencies, earthquakes and fires. Thus, an impromptu master class was organized on the actions of hearing-impaired students and students with other special needs in emergency situations. Next, the students visited an earthquake simulator, inspected the control room and got acquainted with Center's system of operation in case of earthquakes, mudslides and avalanches.
The tour was organized by the Civil Defense, Fire Safety and Labor Protection Headquarters in cooperation with University's Center for Support and Maintenance of Inclusive education and became part of Satbayev University's program to develop inclusive education and raise students' awareness of safety in the urban environment.
