  • How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?

    1. Before applying, select your favorite educational program at Satbayev University, corresponding to the relevant subjects in which you passed UNT.

    2. Write down for yourself the code (column “Groups of educational programs” in the table) of the group of educational programs that includes the program you have chosen.

    3. Indicate the group code and code of Satbayev University (Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev) in the application for a grant: 029.

    4. The code in "Study trajectories" column is not necessary to use. It is shown for the convenience and to compare the code of specialties of previous years (until 2019) and the new code of educational programs (“Groups of educational programs” column).

Education of personnel in the field of development, design, development of space technology and technology, including intelligent remote sensing technologies using space technology, as well as digitalization of economic sectors using space technology.

Graduates will receive an academic degree of a Master of Engineering and Technology with 1.5 years of training or a Master of Technical Sciences with 2 years of training.

The program is focused on the study of modern technologies of project management, research methods, intelligent remote sensing systems within the framework of the industrial revolution 4.0. In particular, small-sized remote sensing hardware and software complexes, in addition to knowledge of modern methods and means of providing telecommunications, methods of building digital and satellite systems are widely studied.

The issues of designing and operating remote sensing space systems, methods of automated decryption of satellite images and systems for providing intelligent information and communication systems within the framework of the industrial revolution 4.0 are considered in detail. In particular, the potential possibilities of aerospace environmental monitoring are widely studied.

Undergraduates have access to a rich material and technical base, educational and research laboratory stands of SPUTNIX, the laboratory of nanosatellites and the center for remote sensing of the Earth.

Undergraduates undergo professional, research and scientific-pedagogical practice, they can study abroad for a semester under academic mobility programs.

The main potential employers for our undergraduates are the companies of "NCIT", IKiT, "SKTB Galam", "NC "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary", the Center for Space Communications of "Kaztelecom", "Kazaeronavigation" and all state institutions where remote sensing is actively implemented, as well as private companies that are engaged in remote sensing technologies, educational institutions.
