Training of specialists in the field of eco-and biotechnology, owning modern methods in the field of engineering biotechnology and environmental ecology, able to implement the knowledge gained in engineering design and scientific-production activities.

The innovative program is accredited by the IAAR and is one of the most promising specialties in which training is conducted at Satbayev University. Graduates receive an academic master's degree in natural sciences.

The diploma is accompanied by an annex to the diploma, developed according to the standards of the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO / CEPES. The application uses the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and makes it possible to continue education at foreign universities, as well as confirm national higher education for foreign employers.

The program is based on high technology, the widespread use of modern information technology, computerization of design and management. Undergraduates study current problems and methods of modern biotechnology, management psychology, biotechnology in environmental protection, engineering biotechnology, biotechnology for the production of products in various industries and biosafety.

Undergraduates gain the skill of designing and operating environmental and biological processes in industrial production, learn to model, calculate parameters and optimize ecotechnological and biotechnological processes, develop a hardware-technological scheme of the process, and manage industrial ecologized biotechnological productions.

Graduate students undergo professional, research and scientific-pedagogical practice at leading world universities. Students are offered the opportunity of an in-depth study of one of the foreign languages, which makes them possible to study for 1-2 semesters in leading foreign universities under the academic mobility program.

Graduates work in engineering and managerial positions in research and production corporations, laboratories in the laboratory for monitoring product quality and safety, in the energy, mining, mining, metallurgical, oil and gas and chemical industries, and environmental services.
