This is an innovative educational program that prepares effective researchers and is focused on scientific, experimental research, teaching activities in the development of modern software products with a focus on distributed computing and high computational loads. The graduate will be awarded an academic degree of Ph.D.
Ph.D. students are required to thoroughly study software development technologies, different aspects of hardware and software organization of distributed systems, problems of stable network applications and real-time systems, a theory of computational complexity and multi-agent systems. Much attention is paid to the development of applied projects and the commercialization of projects.
Ph.D. students will actively be involved in research projects under the supervision of foreign consultants. Study plans of Ph.D. students will include a required internship at one of the leading foreign partner universities. The write-up and defense of the thesis are led by two scientific leaders, domestic and foreign.
Graduates will work as research associates, leading experts, developers and software architects, managers for software quality and its development processes in research laboratories, research centers, universities, IT technology parks, and IT departments in manufacturing industries leading IT-companies, government and business structures and other organizations implementing research, design and educational activities in various fields of economy.
